Lake Merritt Run Club 2026 Board Member Candidates
A bit of explanation about what you’re voting for. The vice-president helps the president, stands in for them if needed, and takes on special projects. The secretary records board meetings and handles any correspondence. The three at-large positions are new, and we’re trying this at the suggestion of our parent organization, the Road Runners Club of America. They’ll get to choose their tasks based on their interests and the club’s needs. Per new Bylaws, the club president and treasurer elections will be next year, 2027, and the vice-president and secretary elections are this year, 2026. This eliminates the possible issues with having an entirely new board members elected.
